Are you a licensed 310T mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing many different types of equipment and vehicles? Join an award-winning Fleet team that is dedicated to sustainability and corporate performance as being ISO 14001 certified with a fleet of over 1500 vehicles.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team who are responsible for the maintenance, repair, registration, acquisition, and disposal of fleet vehicles and equipment as well as the training and legislative requirements around vehicle licensing, vehicle and equipment inspections, and Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration (CVOR).
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in current motive power repair, fabrication and operating.
- Valid Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Trades - 310T -Truck & Coach Technician is preferred, 310S-Automotive Service Technicians will be considered. Having both would be an asset.
- Valid MTO Class DZ license in good standing or ability to acquire a DZ license within 6 months of hire.
- Previous work experience in a mechanical area and must be mechanically inclined.
- Preference will be given to applicants who possess additional related certificates pertinent to the Motive Power trades.
- Must possess all hand tools applicable to the trade.
- Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
